Visualize

I’m feeling awesome and refreshed after a week of vacation J

I would like to discuss the importance of “Visualizing” whether it’s your goal(s), dream(s), successes or even how to make your favorite dish for someone special…

The point here is, “Visualizing” is an extremely important tool in anyone’s success…

Let me give you a couple examples of how I used the technique of  ” Visualizing”…

My first year in the Pharmaceutical Industry was amazing and I was in 'ah' of my first National Sales Meeting that was held in Miami Florida and the Awards Dinner Banquet was incredible…I was only with the company for 8 months and was not eligible for any awards so I knew going in that I was not going to win anything but that night I began using my ” Visualization Technique” that I had used my entire football career from High School to University right to the CFL…

When they announced the “President’s Club” Award winners from each Region I began by closing my eyes and “Visualizing” me walking up to the National Sales Manager and General Manager accepting my Award with a firm hand shake and big smileJ

Well guess what?...Almost a year to the day of attending my first Awards Dinner Banquet, I heard the NSM announce, “At this time I would like to congratulate a first time winner of the Presidents Club and someone I see winning many more of these in the years to come, Jeffrey Croonen”!

Wow, awesome, excellent, super, great and plain and simple KICK BUTT I WON ! ! !

I was not shocked because I had visualized this moment for almost 365 days and it played out exactly how I had “Visualized” it...

Another quick example of “Visualizing” was in my second year of attending the Michigan State University High School Football Camp in East Lansing Michigan.

The first year I attended I had a good camp but spent most of the time in AH of the stadium, how big the University campus was, the 300 or 400 hundred other High School Athletes that were attending and how incredibly tough the entire week of camp was.

Then it came for the Awards part of the Camp coming to an end and I never thought for a second I had a chance because they didn’t exactly think Canadian kids were good at football and they focused on the kids from “In State” that played at High Schools throughout the state of Michigan…

But that was about the time that I began to use the technique of “Visualization” to accomplish my Goals/Dreams.

So I thought to myself, “I was here last year and the “In Ah of it all” was no longer there so the entire week before the camp began, the entire ride down from Hamilton and the entire week of camp all I did was “Visualize” my name coming across the score board as my father walked into the stadium to pick me up for the long ride home.

Well the week went by and I worked my butt of again but this time my “Thoughts” and “Vision” was of me having a great week of camp and wining the MVP (Most Valuable Player) Award with my dad witnessing it all…

As they began to hand out the Awards for MVP I kept looking at the opening to the stadium but no fatherL

Then I hear Coach Curly say on the microphone, “Our Defensive MVP at this year’s Michigan State High School Football Camp is…..(as he says) Jeffrey Croonen from Hamilton Canada, my father walks into the stadium with a HUGE Proud SmileJ and I walk up to the Head Coach and shake his hand with my right and accept the MVP Trophy with my left and walk right up to my dad and say, “Thanks for all you have done for me pops, you are the best and I love you”!

Just like I had Visualized it over & over again...

So Get Inspired and start “Visualizing” today and stop thinking Dreams are only that…Dreams….Because Dreams are meant to happen and “Visualizing” will get you all you have ever wanted and MORE ! ! !
