With the 98th Grey Cup minute’s away from Kick – Off, I have a rush of feelings and memories rushing to my head…
I remember winning the Eastern Final against The Toronto Argonaut’s and screaming “we’re going to the Grey Cup” and thousands times!
So many players before me played 10 – 15 or even 20 years and never went to a Grey Cup…
Wow I was in my second season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers….a Professional Football Player… Me…Jeffrey Lawrence Croonen, a kid from Hamilton that was picked on, chased, stuffed in gym lockers, rejected by every girl and pretty much “Bullied” his entire childhood.

Now look at this kid.…Not only did I make the defending Grey Cup Championship Winnipeg Blue Bomber active roster…In my rookie season I won the starting Full Back position and that was all done after an injury filled University career in the US where I was on a Full Football Athletic Scholarship.
The Grey Cup is an awesome Canadian pastime that many of us can remember where we were and who we were with when the game clock hit Zero and the Cup was presented to the winning Head Coach…
