Born Jeffrey Lawrence Croonen into a humble well grounded family, growing up in Hamilton, Ontario, he accredits his achievements to the solid framework his parents built for him. The middle of three children, he shared many of the typical childhood struggles. Living and learning with ADHD presented challenges, and frustrations coupled with intimidation and ridicule Jeffrey learned early on he was going to be himself accountable for capturing his dreams each and every one of them.

Despite the opinion of one Jeffrey worked hard and never gave up on his dream of a football scholarship attending the Eastern Michigan University on a full football scholarship where his dream began. Later drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1989 as a defensive tackle and linebacker he led the Bombers in special-teams tackles during their Grey Cup victory in 1990 against the Edmonton Eskimos. In 1991 he spent a year with the Hamilton Tiger-cats after signing as a free agent followed by signing with the Toronto Argonauts in 1992. Released mid-season in 1993 after fracturing three ribs during a game he signed with the Edmonton Eskimos wining his second Grey Cup. Living the dream he never gave up on.

During his CFL years Jeffrey also spent time working as a Correctional Officer and Youth worker. Working in facilities used for high risk and troubled teens his counseling revolved around the treatment, custody and detention facilities. So many of our youth get lost in life and the system, and Jeffrey has always had eyes that see so much more than others do.

Rebuilding from an abrupt end to his football dream Jeffrey staying true to his nature never faltering from his passion for life and all that it holds moved on to a successful sales career in pharmaceuticals. Mediocrity was never and option he spent over a decade earning numerous Canadian sales awards, along with earning International sales recognition.
